Our Story
Rytech Labs founder, Ryan, grew up navigating school and work with dyslexia and the anxiety that comes with it. He was seldom challenged with ideas, but often faced deep challenges to express those ideas. Writing took far more time and effort than it should. Simple assignments required exhausting extra hours to fix spelling, grammar, and structural mistakes, often overshadowing the quality of thought and compromising confidence.
As Ryan progressed, he began to thrive when he used technology to support his learning. But there was always a careful balance to strike: using tools to remove barriers without letting them do the work. Many general-purpose AI tools could help, but they often crossed that line by writing for him instead of strengthening his own words. On top of that, the ongoing subscription costs made consistent use frustrating and unsustainable.
What Ryan needed and couldn’t find, was a tool that offered meaningful support without taking over, that could be used freely without recurring fees, and that treated privacy as non-negotiable.
So we built it.
